Dog Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic
Pricing for Dog Spay Neuter & Well Pet Services
Our vision at SpayXperts is Affordable Vet Care for the people. We work hard to be efficient at every step so we can provide excellent care at a price everyone can afford.
Help keep your cost affordable.
- In past years, most of our patients were puppies and kittens under 6 months of age. Puppies and kittens love to socialize, are easy to handle and carry, simple to spay or neuter, and recover with almost no complications and no down time. All these things are reflected in the affordable cost.
- In contrast, now we are seeing mostly mature adult pets. Few are excited to see strangers and so are difficult for our staff to handle. Many are overweight and/or in heat which adds difficulty for the surgeon and increases patient discomfort, complications, and recovery time. All these things are reflected in the cost.
- We are aware of information on the internet recommending mature spay/neuter, but from our perspective (nearly 50,000 surgeries), there is more benefit and less risk associated with pediatric spay and neuter. Our recommendation is still the same, spay or neuter at 4-6 months of age.
*Prices are current as of 4/1/2024 and include doctor’s pre-op exam, anesthesia, surgery, pre & post-op pain medication. There are no taxes or additional fees on these services.
You may find it convenient to have our Xperts perform some wellness treatments too. Patients benefit by avoiding the stress of another needle poke, and you save money because treatments can be done efficiently and without restraint.
